Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican, 74, has more than 40 years experience in the energy sector, finance as well as management.  

He was the former President & CEO of PETRONAS, Malaysia’s National Oil Company, from 1995 until his retirement in February 2010.  

He is currently a member of the National Economic Action Council (MTEN), the Adviser to PETRONAS, Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and Chairman of International Advisory Council (Malaysia) for Singapore Management University. 

Tan Sri Hassan is also currently the Chairman of Singapore’s Pavilion Energy, a director of Sarawak Energy, Lambert Energy Advisory and a senior international advisor at Temasek International Advisors.  

He was previously the Chairman of the Advisory Committee to the Finance Minister (ACFIN), Sembcorp Marine and Singapore Power, a director with Khazanah Nasional Berhad, ConocoPhilips, Sembcorp Industries, Bank Negara Malaysia and Malaysia-Thailand Joint Authority. 

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Tan Sri Hassan also holds honorary doctorates from University of Malaya and Universiti Teknologi MARA. 

Datuk Seri Panglima Ahmad Fuad Md Ali, aged 71, is currently the Executive Chairman of FPSO Ventures Sendirian Berhad, an affiliate of Malaysia International Shipping Corporation Berhad (MISC) and a member of the National Economic Action Council (MTEN). 

He has extensive experience in the fields of finance, accounting, auditing and consultancy. He started in 1978 with Hanafiah Raslan & Mohamad (HRM) (the then largest local accounting firm) and was made partner in 1984. HRM merged with Arthur Andersen in 1990.  

In 1991, he headed the Audit and Business Advisory unit and in 1993, was appointed as Office Managing Partner, Kuala Lumpur. Throughout his time in the firm, he was involved in audit, accounting, secretarial, receivership and consulting services. He retired from Arthur Andersen in 1995. 

In 1995, Datuk Seri Panglima Fuad was appointed Executive Chairman of Malaysian Plantations Berhad. During his tenure, he was involved in and managed various projects including finance-related businesses, stockbroking and construction/property development. 

In 2003, he set up FPSO Ventures Sendirian Berhad, a joint venture with MISC, to manage, operate and maintain oil and gas Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units and other activities related to the above business.  

In 2007, he became a shareholder and was appointed as Deputy Chairman of Bumi Armada Berhad, which was then involved in ownership and operations of FPSOs / Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) units for the oil and gas sector. The company was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in July 2011. He left in 2013. 

He also sits on the Board of various private companies.   

He was previously a member of the Advisory Committee to the Finance Minister (ACFIN). 

Datuk Seri Panglima Fuad is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He is also a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). 

Dr. Yeah Kim Leng, aged 70, is a Professor of Economics at the Sunway University since 2016, after having served as Dean of the School of Business at the Malaysia University of Science and Technology. He is also Director of the Economic Studies Programme at the Jeffrey Cheah Institute on Southeast Asia and Senior Fellow at the Jeffrey Sachs Centre on Sustainable Development at Sunway University. 

He is currently a member of the National Economic Action Council (MTEN), Deputy President of the Malaysian Economic Association and a member of the Economics Committee for Malaysia Competition Commission. He is also a member of the National Wage Consultative Council under the Ministry of Human Resources. He had served as a trustee of the Malaysian Tax Research Foundation and was a former member of the National Consumer Advisory Council at the Malaysian Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs and Bank Negara Malaysia’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC). 

He was previously Group Chief Economist at RAM Holdings Berhad, having served the organisation for two decades. Prior to joining RAM, he was a senior analyst at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia. 

He was also previously a member of the Advisory Committee to the Finance Minister (ACFIN). 

Professor Dr. Yeah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry, an MBA and a PhD in Agriculture and Resource Economics obtained from the University of Hawaii.
